It was a hard decision but one I needed to take in order to create a series of books where the covers are distinctive and recognisable. Changing my cover was certainly daunting, I love the original cover for The Lions Of Tsavo and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
For the creatioin of the new cover I used 99 designs and really enjoyed the process throughout. There were so many great submissions I got from designers but the one I went with just seemed to get my brief straight away.
I wanted a design that could be used across each book in the series and you will understand what I mean by this when I release the cover design for The Eagle And The Jaguar.
